1. Who we are

This site is operated by SLW Holdings. 850 In The Know is a Tallahassee lifestyle guide and business directory. Questions: hello@850intheknow.com.

2. What you give us

Event details are the name, category, description, date and time, cost, links, venue, address, host name, and any flyer or photos. Organizer details are your type, name, phone, email, website or Facebook page, how you heard about us, and your optional checkbox choice.

3. Public and private

If we approve your event, the event details may appear on our website, social channels and email. Your organizer details are private and are never published.

4. How we use it

To review your event, publish it, and contact you if we have a question. We do not sell your information.

5. Who can see it

Our team can. We store submissions in Google Sheets and Drive. Alerts to our team go through Microsoft 365. We do not share your contact details with sponsors or advertisers.

6. Contact

Our system never sends you automatic emails. A member of our team may reach you by phone or email only to confirm details.

7. Flyers and photos

You confirm you have permission to share them. You allow us to display them with your event and to resize or crop them.

8. The optional checkbox

If you check "interested in featuring this event for a flat fee later," we save that as interest only. It is not a commitment, and no payment is collected.

9. How long we keep it

While your event is listed and for a reasonable time after for our records. You can ask us to remove it sooner.

10. Your choices

Email hello@850intheknow.com with your reference number to correct, change, cancel or delete.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method is perfect.

12. Children

This form is not for children under 13.

13. Changes

We update the date above when this changes.
